[Felix sits in the lobby tapping a pen against the the page of his journal. Cross was supposed to contact him two days ago. Did the man simply change his mind, perhaps in another so-called effort to keep him on his toes? Did he ever have an intention of keeping the appointment? [It'd been trying first few days for Felix. After the initial utter panic he fell back to the one thing he trusted - books. It might have been unfair to the toddler to treat him like a puzzle, but doing so helped Felix remove himself from gnawing worry in his own mind that he had absolutely no business with a child.
